WES Annual Book Fair

The WES Book Fair is held in the library and is the annual fundraising event for the school library. The library receives 20% of total sales and earmarks this money for the acquisition of new books and materials for our children to enjoy. Your generous participation as a Book Fair customer will make for a better library experience for all our children.

You’ll find the tables stocked with over 1,000 titles – everything from picture books to
young adult favorites, books hot off the press, poetry books, gift and holiday books, and titles from our summer reading list. We’re confident you’ll be pleased with this outstanding selection of terrific books.

2016 Book Fair Information

Donate Books to the Library

Your donations offset the Library’s largest expense -- books!  Dedicate a book to your child, a favorite teacher or WES staff member, or honor the memory of a family member or friend.  See what Mr. Pané thinks are the best new books this year.  Nearly  a 1,000 books from which to choose.

Donate Books to Your Child’s Classroom or a Favorite “Specials” Teacher

Put books right were your child can read them every day -- in the classroom!  Support your child’s teachers by helping them build a classroom library collection.  This is a great way to show your appreciation for your teacher during the holiday season.  Remember teachers in the Fine and Performing Arts, Foreign Language, Math, Religion, Science and Technology!

Donate Books to Rosemount Center

This year the WES Book Fair is donating books to Rosemount Center. Rosemount Center is a bilingual Head Start/Early Head Start program that serves pregnant mothers, infants, toddlers and pre-school aged children and their families. The majority of Rosemount’s families are at or below poverty level and many are immigrant families from Central and South America, China, Vietnam, Ethiopia, and West Africa. WES has partnered with Rosemount for nearly a decade with Middle School students volunteering at the Center about six times a year.

During the Book Fair, there will be a Rosemount Center table where you can choose books to donate to the Rosemount Center library.  Please consider donating and we appreciate your support!

Purchase Books for Yourself, Friends and Family

Do some of your holiday shopping right at WES!  Choose from a wide selection of high-quality, award-winning, and popular hard cover and paperback books.  We also carry a large collection of educational games and activities.  There’s something for everyone -- even the adults on your list.  A portion of every purchase you make stays at WES and supports enrichment of the Library’s print and electronic resources.

Santa is Coming!

Come and visit with Santa at the WES Holiday Book Fair on Saturday, December 10.  There will be a story time with Mr. Pané at 11:00 a.m. and Santa’s visit at 11:30 a.m.
