Clubs & Activities


WES offers a variety of opportunities for enrichment beyond the regular school day. 

Clubs
These offer opportunities for socialization across grade levels, as well as enrichment and skill development. Clubs are held once a week from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.  Most are free but a few require a small fee.

      Clubs for students in Grades 1-6 include the following:

  • Art
  • Chess
  • Chorus
  • Computer
  • Robotics (Dragonbots)
  • Science
  • Sports
  • Holiday Crafts
  • Great Books
  • Karate

      Clubs for Middle School students include the following:

  • Ceramics
  • Film
  • Spanish
  • French
  • School Scribble (school newspaper)
  • Sewing


Study Hall

Supervised study hall is available in Grades 2-8 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  There is no charge for study hall and no sign-up required.  Many students find this extra hour at school a great way to get homework done in a quiet, familiar space with valuable resources at hand.
