After School Programming
Beyond the School Day
WES offers Extended Day and After School Enrichment to support students and families beyond regular hours. Extended Day provides a safe, structured space for homework, play, and recreation, while Enrichment classes allow students to explore interests in areas like arts, sports, and STEM. These programs promote continued growth and engagement—academically, socially, and emotionally—while offering flexibility for busy family schedules.
Extended Day and Before Care
WES offers Before Care (7:45–8:15 a.m.) for students in PK3–Grade 5, providing a relaxed start to the day with play indoors or outside. It’s especially helpful for families with middle school drop-off, and younger siblings may attend for free.
Extended Day runs after school until 6:00 p.m. and offers a safe, nurturing space for students to study, create, and play. Families can choose from pre-set time blocks on the days they need care and register on a trimester basis. Fees vary by schedule, and registration opens about a month before each trimester.
After School Enrichment Program (ASEP)
Our popular After-School Enrichment Program (ASEP) offers activities for students from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Friday.
ASEP offerings are age-dependent and often include musical clubs, cooking, art, STEM, and sports, and much more. Sessions are offered each trimester, and each session has different offerings. A list of offerings and the fees for each — along with a registration link — is sent to parents about a month before each trimester.
