Parents Association
Parents Association at WES
The Parents Association (PA) is an essential part of the WES community, bringing families together and supporting the life of the school. Every parent or guardian is automatically a member of the PA, and there are countless ways to get involved—from lending a hand at a one-time event to helping organize larger initiatives that benefit our students and faculty.
The PA is responsible for Bingo Night, Educator Appreciation Events, the Used Uniform Shop, the Speaker Series, Father’s Club, Mother’s Club, and the Founders’ Day Picnic & Alumni Reunion. TPA representatives also play a vital role in mentoring new families and assisting with communication between parents, teachers, and the school.
The PA meets every six weeks, alternating between morning and evening meetings to provide flexibility for our busy adult community. Most meetings are held in the Stuart Work Library, and minutes are made publicly available. Morning meetings begin at 8:00 a.m., with free Before Care offered to families on PA meeting days (contact Jess Brockway at jbrockway@w-e-s.org to register in advance). Evening meetings take place at 7:00 p.m. The majority of meetings are also available via Zoom, with a link shared in the weekly news.

Ways to Help
Our community is always excited to welcome new volunteers. Many parents say that volunteering has given them a closer connection to their child’s school life, a deeper understanding of WES, and a firsthand look at how our mission comes to life each day.
