Grade 4 Teacher

At WES Since: 2020

What is your philosophy on teaching?
If you love and enjoy teaching the lesson, the students are likely to reciprocate that joy for learning.

What is the best book you have ever read?
The best book I have ever read is The Ten Types of Human: A New Understanding of Who We Are, and Who We Can Be by Dexter Dias. It is a compelling examination of human nature through a neurological lens but intertwined with incredible real human stories from around the world.

Bio:
I joined the WES community in the summer of 2020. I earned a BA in anthropology from Princeton University and later completed a Princeton in Asia teaching fellowship at a primary school in northern Thailand for two years. After falling in love with Khao Soi and teaching children, I returned to school to pursue a post-graduate certificate in primary education at the University College London. As a former college lacrosse player, I love to stay active through coaching young laxers and playing in weekly faculty soccer games.
