Our amazing fourth-graders and their passion for world peace were featured in this past Sunday's KidsPost section of The Washington Post (and also online)! Each month of the school year, the Post features one DC area Grades 2-7 class. WES had the privilege of being selected for November's article.
WES Grade 4 teachers Anita Gallagher and Kristin Wendt worked with their classes to complete a special questionnaire that asked a variety of questions like the students' favorite author and favorite book and what the students want to be when they grow up. The students' answers are wonderful examples of the breadth and depth of character, interests, and experiences here at WES.
