Connecting with Our Community: Meet our Community Partners

WES aims to build meaningful relationships within the DC area. The following list of partners reflects a variety of relationships that range from sponsorships to joint community service projects.

WES is a firm believer of being a positive contributor to DC area communities.

Adventure Theatre MTC
Adventure Theatre (founded in 1951) and Musical Theater Center (founded in 1986) merged into one organization in 2012.  The combined entity is called Adventure Theatre MTC.  Located in Glen Echo Park (Glen Echo, MD) and The Wintergreen Plaza (Rockville, MD), Adventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC) educates and inspires new generations of theater artists and audiences with exceptional theatrical experiences.

Bethesda Urban Partnership
Bethesda, MD
Downtown Bethesda, a thriving urban center home to numerous restaurants, retailers, arts venues and community events, is managed by the Bethesda Urban Partnership, Inc. (BUP), a non-profit organization established by Montgomery County in 1994.

Central Union Mission
Washington, DC
Central Union Mission is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the oldest private social service agency in Washington, DC. In addition to its emergency shelter, which provides over 62,000 bed-nights each year, the Mission operates a holistic, Christ-centered transformation and workforce development program for men, provides benefits for veterans, helps people overcome addictions, operates a food and clothing distribution center, which provides food for over 4000 people each month, runs a camp for underprivileged children, and offers a ministry to families and senior citizens.

KID Museum
Bethesda, MD
KID Museum is a new museum serving children and families in the Washington, D.C. area. KID Museum offers unique, interactive experiences for elementary and middle school-aged children that integrate hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math learning with an exploration of world cultures and global citizenship.

Imagination Stage
Bethesda, MD
Imagination Stage is one of the largest and most respected multi-disciplinary theater arts organization for young people in the Mid-Atlantic region. Imagination Stage offers a year-round season of professional shows (adult actors performing for families and classes) and arts-integration professional development training for teachers, students, schools, and families.

Martha’s Table
Washington, DC
For over 37 years, Martha’s Table has worked to support stronger children, stronger families, and stronger communities by increasing access to quality education programs, healthy food, and family supports. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity for their brightest future, and a deeply engaged family and community committed to their success.

Samaritan Ministry of Greater Washington
Washington, DC
Samaritan Ministry of Greater Washington helps improve the lives of more than 1,000 people who are homeless or otherwise in need. For over 30 years now, Samaritan Ministry of Greater Washington has provided the resources and support individuals and families with housing and employment search guidance, coaching, referrals to partner service providers and more.

Sunrise Senior Living
Bethesda, MD
Sunrise of Bethesda, located northwest of Washington, DC, in Montgomery County, provides care and residences to senior citizens.

Rosemount Center
Washington, DC
Founded in 1972 by the House of Mercy, a charity of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington. House of Mercy has been serving women and children in need since the mid-1930s; its program was converted to daycare in 1970 and to Early Childhood Education and Development in 1986.
