Beyond our strong academic, arts, and athletics programming, WES is a place of invaluable FIRSTS for our children. Whether it’s the first time they learn to read, perform on stage, play an instrument, or travel abroad, WES provides unique opportunities that nurture students who are kind, confident, and prepared.
This is all possible because of this generous, committed community and our extraordinary faculty and staff who put children FIRST. This fall, we ask that you put WES FIRST by giving to the Annual Fund.
To support all that we love at WES, we hope to exceed last year’s campaign by raising more than $450,000 by November 17, 2023. I hope you will join us and make a meaningful contribution so we can reach our goal.
Thank you for your generosity, always.

“We have a story about every single teacher and staff person here, where we can say, they made a difference in our child’s life.”
— Nicole Lucas, WES Parent
WES offers unique experiential learning opportunities across all grades. Our memorable study trips allow students to immerse themselves in a subject, inspiring curiosity and creativity while encouraging resourcefulness and resilience.
Founded by parents and teachers in 1986, WES continues to thrive because of the generosity of its community. Make a gift to the Annual Fund to directly support the daily operating budget of the school, at all that makes WES exceptional.
“When I came for the tour and peeked in the different classrooms, you could see that teachers were immersed in the lesson with the students. You could just tell there was a different dynamic. There was a relationship between the teachers and the students. It was different than anything I had ever experienced.”
— Lauren Rouhanian, WES Parent
At WES, we celebrate all the beautiful and diverse identities within our community. Our work with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) helps us nurture the growth of our students and cultivate their cultural proficiency to enter the wider world as kind, confident, and prepared global citizens.
Our youngest Dragons begin with balance, flexibility, and fun. From “Scooter City” to the soccer field, the WES Athletics program is designed to guide and encourage students to improve their fitness, creating “new muscles” by taking risks and trying new activities. By the time students reach fifth-grade, they are playing competitive sports and learning sportsmanship, resilience, integrity, and leadership.
Thank you for supporting the Annual Fund Campaign with your gift or pledge today! Each tax-deductible gift supports and enhances the educational program for all WES students.

“Not only are they focused on making sure that the children are academically strong, but they make sure that they're empathetic and caring and well-rounded individuals. I can see a difference in my children compared to other children who go to other schools. They may not be learning some of these things that WES is teaching. I love that about WES.”
— Sophie Robinson, WES Parent
