WES truly prepared me for the challenges of high school. Whether it was in algebra or labs in biology and chemistry, the WES curriculum helped me to excel in Honors and AP classes. Extracurricular clubs and activities at WES were great examples of the many new choices I discovered at high school. Even though my high school is much bigger in comparison, I was able to adapt and succeed.

Although WES does not label itself an international school, it truly is. Nearly half the students in my son’s class were bilingual and the daily curriculum incorporates a global perspective.

Our daughter entered WES in first grade, and felt a bit behind on her reading and there were a lot of tears when it came to practicing. Through her time at WES, she has fallen in love with reading and writing, and will often tell us "I love reading!" She now asks to go to bed early so she can read. She feels confident and willing to take risks.
