All gifts are appreciated, tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law, and are used to further the mission of the school. For specific information on any of these gift vehicles or any other type of contribution, please contact the WES Development Office for further information, 301-652-7878 ext. 212.
An easy way to double your contribution is through employee giving programs. Matching gifts are added to personal donation totals for determining Giving Circles. Many corporations have giving programs in which they match employee gifts to qualifying organizations. It’s as simple as determining whether your company has a matching gift program and submitting an application.

Make a Pledge to the Annual Fund Campaign

Installment Plans
Installment plans can be set up by clicking recurring donation. You can also contact the Development Office which can send out pledge reminders or automatically charge a credit card at predetermined times and amounts.
Donor Advised Funds
A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is an effective charitable giving vehicle that allows donors to recommend grants to charitable organizations. Washington Episcopal School will credit the gift and acknowledge the donor with a charitable receipt.

Corporate and Foundation Grants
We are happy to hear from anyone who may be able to help us secure philanthropic financial support from individuals, foundations, or businesses. Proposals can be tailored to the guidelines of the donor, related to specific programs, support of faculty, financial aid funds, enhancement of facilities, or debt reduction.
Business Partnerships
WES, like many schools, is eligible for many retail and other “rewards” programs that donate a percentage of purchases to a designated charity. These include but are not limited to Amazon Smile, Harris Teeter “Together in Education,” and Lands’ End School Rewards. Registration for these programs must be renewed annually.
