Family Partnership Series

The WES Family Partnership Series is designed to engage, educate, and support parents by bringing in experts, thought leaders, and community members to discuss relevant topics that enhance parenting, child development, and school engagement. It serves as a platform for learning, discussion, and connection within the school community.

Goals of a Parents Association Speaker Series

  1. Support Parenting & Child Development

    • Address topics like social-emotional learning, resilience, mental health, digital well-being, and academic growth.
    • Provide strategies for parenting at different developmental stages.
  2. Enhance School-Home Partnership

    • Offer insights into educational trends, curriculum updates, and school initiatives.
    • Strengthen the connection between families and the school’s mission.
  3. Foster Community Engagement

    • Create opportunities for parents to connect and build relationships.
    • Encourage dialogue on topics that matter to the school community.
  4. Provide Expert-Led Insights

    • Feature speakers such as educators, psychologists, authors, and alumni.
    • Cover issues like DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), college preparation, and leadership development.
  5. Inspire & Empower Families

    • Equip parents with tools and resources to navigate modern parenting challenges.
    • Encourage advocacy and active participation in their child’s educational journey.
