Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has required individuals to wear face masks if they are in indoor public spaces and/or using public transportation. The CDC recommends face masks be: at least 2 layers – for extra filtering of particles, consider one with a pocket for a filter (PM 2.5 filter than can filter up to 95% of particles); a properly fitted mask that does not allow gaps (gaps decrease protection); allows for breathing without restriction; and washable/reusable.
