Washington Episcopal School is accredited by:
Association of Independent Maryland and DC Schools
What does it mean to be accredited?
It signifies that the school lives up to widely accepted professional standards and makes a sincere effort to “live its mission,” to follow in practice what is stated in the school philosophy.
In order to achieve and maintain accreditation, schools must undergo a rigorous two-year self-examination and evaluation by outside educators. WES completed this arduous process and received a full ten-year accreditation from the Association of Independent Maryland Schools.
