Welcome from the Head of School

With a fresh and informed approach that blends tradition with innovation, our vibrant and close-knit school community nurtures the pursuit of academic rigor with the development of character and values such as stewardship, empathy, courage, and integrity. We take pride in ensuring that our students leave us kind, confident, and prepared.

These priorities are fueled with outstanding instruction and a thoughtful curriculum that bolsters not only our students’ content knowledge but also their critical thinking and problem solving abilities, risk-taking nature, and creativity. Our parents are an integral part of the process who contribute their time and talent to further enhance the school’s culture and curriculum. Our faculty work in an environment that promotes respect, empowerment, collaboration, imagination, and professional growth. In turn, our children experience an appropriately challenging and joyful learning environment.

WES is special for many reasons, but we are unique in that our friendly and robust relationships amongst the students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni make all feel welcomed and a part of this larger calling. We welcome you to come on campus to truly get a sense of our program and community.

Welcome!
