What excites you about teaching Kindergarten?
My favorite part about teaching kindergarten is seeing how much kids grow over the year! I love to watch them become readers, writers, mathematicians, and thinkers. I also love reading silly stories to our kindergarteners!

If you could talk to any living person now, who would it be and why?
If I could talk to any living person now, I would talk to Tina Fey. I just love her and think we would get along quite well!

Bio:
I have lived in D.C. since 2016, but I grew up in Houston, Texas. I went to Vanderbilt University where I double majored in Elementary Education and Child Studies. I am currently working towards my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education at George Washington University. I enjoy going to new restaurants with friends, going on walks around D.C., and watching TV in my free time.
