What is the best book you have ever read?
Reading is a hobby I have grown very passionate about in the last year. One of my favorite books I have read recently is The Housemaid by Frieda Mcfadden, I love a good mystery or thriller and this one kept me on the edge of my seat! I especially love listening to thrillers on audiobook when driving or working out, it makes me feel like I am living the story!
Why did you become a teacher?
I wanted to become a teacher because many of the most influential women in my life have been teachers. Throughout my childhood, I admired their passion and love for teaching and I knew it was something I wanted to do when I got older. I also love seeing how children’s curiosity and excitement flourish in a learning environment!
Bio:
I recently graduated from Wake Forest University in North Carolina, but grew up in Brooklyn, New York. I regularly visited DC when I was younger and knew I wanted to live here when I got older. I discovered my passion for teaching while working at a day camp for the past few summers. I can’t wait to see my students grow in an environment that they feel safe and comfortable in! I love spending time with friends, reading, and trying new workout classes in my free time!
