If you could talk to any living person, who would it be and why?
If I could talk to any living person at this moment, I would love to talk to Tracy Chapman. I have a deep sense of appreciation for her as a singer-songwriter and her ability to convey such profound messages within her songs that showcase vulnerability and strength as a woman of color.
What is the best book you have ever read?
The best book I have ever read was Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer. This book expanded and challenged my thoughts on how we go about making choices in our lives and the concept of conventionality. It’s a good read that brings out thought-provoking conversations!
I was born and raised in the Philippines. I graduated from Washington College in May 2021 with a degree in business communications. I manage WES’s weekly newsletter, social media accounts, and help out with a number of other projects as well! I recently became a dog mom to Junior, and we both enjoy long drives and going on hiking trips to national parks. Our most recent one was at Cuyahoga National Park in Ohio!
